YSRCP members and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju is managing to constantly stay in the news for some reason or the other. He’s always locking heads with other members of YSRCP, by making some sort of remark on some issue or the other. This has led to quite the ruckus within the state, and in the party as well.
Recently, Minister Avanthi Srinivasa Rao has warned Raghu Ramakrishna Raju not to indulge in the matters of North Andhra, or there would be dire consequences. Avanthi said that Raghu Ramakrishna Raju even won his MLA seat on the basis of CM Jagan’s charisma. He said that any sort of comments on the CM, or on the party wouldn’t be tolerated.
Avanthi told RRR to only look after his constituency and not to bother about what’s happening in the rest of the state. He further said that RRR had no right to comment on the 3 Capital issue, or pass comments saying that Vizag is not suitable to be the executive capital of AP. Avanthi even took the example of Chandrababu Naidu and said that he was stopped from leaving Visakhapatnam airport by the people of AP, after he made negative comments on the 3 capital issue.
Avanthi also advised RRR to resign his position in case he wasn’t happy with the way YSRCP was working. Furthermore, talking about Nalanda Kishore, Avanthi said that his death was completely natural, but that it was being used for political benefits. Avanthi also said that Nalanda was a TDP supporter, and yet the YSRCP offered its condolences to his family after his passing. He even questioned why Nara Lokesh did not personally meet the family to console him, like in the case of Atchannaidu. He said that RRR was making all of these remarks out of the carelessness he has, which has been making sure that he’s not achieving his goals.
Raghu Ramakrishna Raju responded to all of these comments made by Avanthi Srinivasa Rao, and said that he did not win the elections purely out of Jagan’s charisma, and said that his charisma played an important role in it. He also said that he had no reason to resign from his post, and once again asserted that Nalanda Kishore’s death was not natural in any sense. Responding to his comments on the 3 Capitals, RRR once again stressed that Amaravati was better suited as the executive capital than Visakhapatnam, and said that he would always continue to say that.
