Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan has always been more focused on politics in Andhra Pradesh, compared to Telangana politics. He even refused to contest in the 2018 Telangana assembly elections, saying that his party wasn’t prepared enough. However, his party did contest a few seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, in association with the Bahujan Samaj Party, but failed to make an impact anywhere.
Pawan hasn’t commented on any politics in Telangana so far, having been totally focused on Andhra politics. While Pawan was very eager to contest in the GHMC elections in December 2020, he had to drop out due to pressure from the BJP. Now, the actor turned politician has reportedly decided to focus on Telangana as well, starting with the meeting he’s organising on Saturday on the outskirts of Hyderabad, where he will interact with his fans.
Pawan’s fans and followers are making all the necessary arrangements already, and promoting the event highly, on all social media platforms. It should now to be seen how much of an impact Pawan will be able to make.
