Parents lost interest for abroad studies now?

Over the last two decades, Indian parents have been proud of their children who have been working abroad. They are earning millions of rupees as salaries which has been a prestige factor until the COVID-19 outbreak. Most importantly, the people from rural areas were used to a common word “Maa Vadu America lo Vunnadu.”

The majority of the people in Telugu states have been very curious these days to send their beloved abroad and most of them are pawning their properties and are applying for bank loans so that they can be repaid with hundreds and thousands of dollars that their children would earn.

Now, the situation is completely changed as the developed countries America, U.K, and Australia have taken major blows from the Corona Crisis.

Every sector in the United States has taken a hit and everything is under lockdown at the moment. Instead of earning millions of dollars, the people are hoping for their safety from the COVID-19 infection. The people who went just before the COVID-19 crisis are struggling to get their daily food.

With this drastic change in the last three months, the parents are reconsidering their attitude towards their foreign addiction for the first time. Let alone the dollar-earning euphoria, the lives of their children are in danger here.

According to a recent survey, most of the people who returned home amid the COVID-19 scare are not willing to return abroad at the moment.
