The most controversial slot book system for the non-agricultural assets’ registration has been stopped by the TRS government. The Telangana state government has declared that the registrations will be done in the old method from 21st this month.
Though the slot booking has been suspended the registrations will be done in CARD booking method and those who had booked the slots with the instructions of the government can start the procedure for registrations from 21st. The TG government said that it has taken this decision according to the orders of the High Court.
The slot booking system was started on 11th December and the booking services were available for the people from 14th December. However, the High Court instructed that no registrations should take place through slot booking or PTIN method until a new manual will be prepared by the government without the details of Aadhaar, Family members, caste and economic status.
