New Zealand’s key player ruled out of T20 WC final

New Zealand has suffered a massive blow ahead of the final match against Australia in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021. The Kiwis will take on Australia in the tournament’s final on Sunday (November 14).

Before the final, New Zealand’s star batsman Devon Conway missed the crucial match due to injury. Conway has been ruled out of the T20 WC final with a broken hand. He sustained the injury during the semi-final match against England on Wednesday when he punched his bat in frustration after getting dismissed.

Conway, who scored 46 in the first semi-final, was stumped by Livingstone at the crucial moment. The batsman, who was a little impatient with the order, punched the bat with his hand. This broke his right arm bone.

Responding to this, New Zealand coach Gary Stead said, “I am very disappointed that Conway will not be available for the final.”
