The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has blacklisted the Malla Reddy Colleges of Engineering for 5 years. This college was situated in Kompally and the NAAC isn’t satisfied with the Self Study Report (SSR) produced by the college authorities for its accreditation.
Previously, NAAC had accredited the college with B++ grade in July, 2018, which was supposed to be valid till July, 2023. In the meanwhile the NAAC has found some fabrication especially with seals, signatures and Letterheads in the letters purportedly given by BHEL, Yash Technologies and Airtel.
Well coming to the future of the students studying in the College, it is clear that the NAAC will not intervene with the students who are currently studying in the College but this will definitely impact the admissions. If the Malla Reddy colleges fail to sort out this issue at the earliest, students might not prefer to take admission in a college that is blacklisted and not accredited.
