Mahesh Babu’s fans fuming on Satya Dev’s ‘UMUR’

Starring Satya Dev in the lead role, ‘Uma Maheshwara Rao Ugra Roopasya’ released on Netflix today and it has been garnering a mixed response from the viewers. The film is a remake of Malayalam rural drama ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’ and it stays true to the original.

Going into the story, Mahesh Babu’s fans have been fuming on ‘UMUR’ as they feel offended by one particular scene in the film.

In one of the comedy scenes, actor Suhas, in a conversation with a young girl says Mahesh Babu is lazy and he tries to fight his opponents from a standstill position in his films.

Mahesh Babu’s fans are infuriated with the makers of ‘UMUR’ for including a scene which calls a superstar like Mahesh “Lazy”. They are expressing their anguish on social media platforms and are calling out the director, Venkatesh Maha, and the producer, Shobu Yarlagadda.

Meanwhile, a few netizens say scenes like these should be taken on a lighter note and fans should go easy on the makers of ‘UMUR’.
