A new batch of movies is all set to entertain the OTT audience this weekend. This week we have as many as 5 movies releasing this Friday and make the audience stick to the digital streaming platforms.

1. Liger on Disney+ Hotstar
Liger is a sports action film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages, the film starred Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. It features the Rowdy actor as an MMA fighter and the movie is about his journey to become an international-level MMA fighter. It is produced by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. Released on 25th August on big screens, the movie was premiered on OTT on 22nd September 2022
2. Thiruchitrambalam on Sun NXT
Thiruchitrambalam is a romantic family comedy-drama film written and directed by Mithran R Jawahar. Starring Dhanush in the lead role, the movie is about a delivery boy navigating life while living with his strict policeman father and sassy grandfather. Meanwhile, he’s caught between two women. It is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. It was premiered on 23 September 2022.
3. Babli Bouncer on Disney+ Hotstar
Babli Bouncer is a comedy-drama film directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and written by Amit Joshi, Aradhana Debnath and Madhur Bhandarkar. The film stars Tamannaah as a female bouncer, who moves to Delhi in the pursuit of finding a job, and makes it big as a bouncer. The movie opted for direct OTT release, skipping the theatrical release. It was premiered on 23 September 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar.
4. First Day First Show on Aha Telugu
First Day First Show is a comedy-drama directed by Vamsidhar Goud and penned by Jaathiratnalu director Anudeep KV. It was released on big screens on September 2, 2022. Starring Srikanth Reddy in the lead role, the movie was backed by Srija Edida’s Srija Entertainment and Mitra Vinda Movies. It was premiered on 23 September 2022.
5. Kalapuram on ZEE5
Kalapuram is a village drama directed by Palasa fame Karuna Kumar. Starring Satyam Rajesh as the main lead, the movie was released on big screens on 26th August 2022. It was premiered on the OTT platform on 23 September 2022.
