Kompally man attempts suicide in front of Pragati Bhavan

Tension prevailed at Pragati Bhavan in Hyderabad when a man tried to commit suicide. As per reports, two brothers from Kompally in Hyderabad reached Pragati Bhavan today and went across the convoy of ministers and protested there.

One of the brothers poured petrol on him and tried to set himself ablaze. However, the police at the spot prevented his attempt and shifted him to the nearby police station.

The man, who attempted suicide, alleged that the police neglected him when he complained about the house dispute. He also said the police are harassing him, despite doing justice. An investigation is underway.

However, this is not the first time that people tried to do these things near Pragati Bhavan. In the past, there have been many instances the police on duty at the Chief Minister’s camp office foiled suicide bid of people and took them into custody.
