In a heart-wrenching incident, at least 22 Coronavirus patients allegedly died after a prominent private hospital in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra conducted an oxygen mock drill to find out who all were vulnerable.
Claiming to be a part of the experiment to know who all can live, Paras Hospital owner, Dr Arinjay Jain, stopped the oxygen supply for 5 minutes. The video of this horrific incident, which took place in Agra on April 26, is now going viral on social media.
According to reports, Arinjay Jain said that the hospital anticipated oxygen shortage and conducted a mock drill to verify who all were critical. In the video, it can be heard that 22 Covid patients were found vulnerable. The drill was conducted at 7 AM.
“We were told that make people understand and have them discharged, there’s no oxygen. Even the chief minister cannot get oxygen, that’s the situation, so start discharging patients. Modi Nagar is dry. We started making people understand, they said they will not leave,” Dr Arinjay Jain said in the video.
The hospital has been sealed and the Uttar Pradesh Government had ordered a probe into this incident.
