Former Speaker of AP assembly, Kodela Sivaprasad Rao’s death has led to severe disturbances among the political circles. While TDP blamed YSRCP for it, the ruling party on the other side alleged that the harassment of Kodela’s daughter and son led to his death. Even the netizens on the social media are expressing the mixed reactions over the issue.
Responding to such allegations, Kodela’s daughter Vijayalaxmi spoke to the media saying, “It is unfair to blame son and daughter for his death, as none of us went against him.” She asked the media to stop harassing their family mentally, at the time of distress.
Not stopping there, she further said that the continuous attacks for the last three months, made Kodela commit suicide. As Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy completed three months of ruling in the state, Vijayalaxmi’s comments are being considered as indirectly aimed at Jagan and his government in the state.

Right after forming the government in AP, there are numerous incidents when the state government strictly went against Kodela. The TDP leader also wrote to Jagan, requesting him to stop attacking him with the cases. But YSRCP government refused to reply for his letter. So the netizens are anticipating that as the issues are going to turn uglier against Kodela in Jagan’s rule, unwilling to face it, the former speaker committed suicide.
