Kodela Siva Prasad, who has been facing the allegations of stealing the assembly furniture, has written letters to the state government and also assembly secretary, requesting them to relieve him from the case.
Kodela acted as a speaker and also minister in the past, representing TDP. As a ruling party leader in the past, he severely went against the then opposition party leader Jagan and also other leaders of YSRCP.
As the YSRCP formed the government now and TDP faced a massive debacle, the things between both the parties have turned uglier. Especially, Kodela has been facing the jolts on a row from the ruling party.
YSRCP took the case of assembly furniture stealing, too seriously and ordered for a strict probe. The concerned officials already nabbed a few leaders involved in the case and are yet to nab others.
Unable to face the heat from the state government, Kodela recently fell ill. Now even after he had written a letter to the government officials, there is no response from them as of yet, hinting that the game is still on.
Kodela’s aggressive acts in the past have landed him here, but the repeated targeting of the ruling party may get a sympathy for him and negative impact on the government. So it would be better, it the state government stops targeting Kodela and come up with a conclusion in his case soon.
