Khaidi collections: A good pick up to Karthi in Telugu

Karthi is one among the few Kollywood heroes, who attained a decent following in Telugu too. The Aawara star who believes in script oriented films, rather than the regular commercial dramas, has come up with one such script based film called Khaidi.

As there was no great pre-release buzz, the film had witnessed dull openings in the morning show. But as the positive talk has come out through that show, the collections got picked up and the film is now going good. In both Telangana and Andhra put together, Khaidi, could pool a gross of Rs. 78.5 lakh. Earlier, Khaki got Rs. 1.22 Cr share in Telugu states alone.

Nizam – Rs. 30.3 lakh

Ceded – Rs. 15.3 lakh

Guntur – Rs. 5.2 lakh

Uttarandhra – Rs. 8.1 lakh

East Godavari – Rs. 6.2 lakh

West Godavari – Rs. 5.3 lakh

Krishna – Rs. 4.4 lakh

Nellore – Rs. 3.7 lakh

Total gross – Rs. 78.5 lakh
