Telugu speaking states are mostly agriculture based regions. Most of the people in these regions comes from farming background and several families still holds significant areas of land. In the recent times, majority of the farmers are seeing failures and the rates of suicide are raising day by day.
Interestingly, few NRIs and Software employees are leaving their jobs and are getting into the agriculture domain. These educated people are making interesting experiments and are turning agriculture into a profitable business. Recently, couple of such incidents caught KCR’s mind and the Telangana CM decided to use technology to help the farmers in the state to maximize their profits.
KCR stated that few scientists in the state will take the weather trends, soil condition and other temperature related parameters into consideration to recommend particular crops to the farmers in the respective regions. If the farmers follows these recommendations, KCR says that they won’t see any losses in future. We have to see if KCR’s new strategy will revolutionize farming in Telangana.
