Telangana Chief Minister KCR has been saying for the past few months that he has a grand plan in mind, which would be announced shortly. There have been several speculations regarding this, including the establishment of BRS (Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi), much like the TRS at the state level.
KCR’s interest in becoming a significant leader in national politics is no secret. He has been putting all the pieces in place for the past few months, meeting with various leaders from across the country, so that he could float a third front nationally, challenging the BJP and the Congress nationally. It is now being said that this grand plan that KCR has in mind, involves his son KTR.
It is being said that KCR intends to announce his son KTR as the Chief Minister of Telangana by Dasara, and is expected to get fully into national politics at the same time. KCR intends to focus on national politics while handing over state politics to his son. It is now to be seen how true this will turn out to be.
