On the occasion of completing three years in office as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy thanked the people of the state for giving him the opportunity of being the CM and said that he has been able to complete 95% of the promises that he made ahead of the elections, to the people of the state. He said that he introduced many schemes, all of which have resonated very well with the people.
He thanked the people for always standing by him, and said that he intends to continue his good work. Despite all of that, an undeniable fact is that Jagan’s government has become very infamous for its schemes and for their decisions. The YSRCP government drove the AP state into the kind of bankruptcy that no other state in the history of India, has ever seen or heard of. All of the funds that the government collects are diverted toward their various welfare schemes. Moreover, the government hasn’t even actively done anything to generate revenue.
The YSRCP government also very infamously introduced the 3 capitals plan, which is a betrayal of the promises it made ahead of the elections. By scrapping the plan of Amaravati being the sole capital of AP, the government has done great injustice to the farmers of Amaravati, who sacrificed their lands for a bigger cause. Jagan’s rule has been a mixed bag for many, a disaster for more, with state government employees suffering, and violence just rapidly increasing in the state.
