Katrina Kaif says no to objectification in songs

Bollywood popular actress Katrina Kaif said that she is away from objectification in songs.

Katrina who was last seen Arbaaz Khan’s Pinch, said, “Sometimes, we don’t stop and question what is being said and don’t stop to analyse the truth to it.”

“In some of these waves (of notions) that are popular in the media, we have taken women dancing in films as they are being objectified. If you as a woman or actress feel even for one second that you’re being objectified in a song, you should not be doing it,” she added.
These comments are now going viral on the social media, with several expressing mixed opinions.

Katrina Kaif was seen in several item numbers earlier. A few of the songs like Chikni Chameli have brought her immense fame and the skin show she made in such respective songs were on par with the professional item dancers. Such actress, now talking about objectification in the songs, is what making her receive criticism from the netizens.
