There was a huge turnout of celebrities from the film industry into YSRCP, during the elections, among which Ali’s entry has raised the curiosity.
As Ali is a close associate of Pawan Kalyan over the years, there were several anticipations that he would join hands with his friend. But shockingly, he picked Jagan and received severe backlash from the Janasena activists.
While the comedian expected to get an MLA ticket, he was ditched, as he entered into the party and there were several others, who were waiting for such opportunity, since long.
However, Jagan is still concerned about Ali and is planning to offer him an MLC now and will also give him a prominent post related to the minority welfare of AP later.

During the elections, Ali mentioned that he would pick any party that offers him an MLA ticket. It clearly shows that he is not dedicated to Jagan or his party and is only concerned about his own growth in the politics. So it is a clear sign, that he may jump into any other party in the future, that offers him a better position. So it may not be good for Jagan to retain Ali in YSRCP for long.
