When Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy attended the launch of Kaleshwaram Project in Telangana, as the chief guest, there were severe criticisms on him, as the YSRCP Chief, as an opposition leader, went against the project.
In the ongoing assembly sessions, though Naidu took out Kaleshwaram project issue, he failed to question the new CM about the reason behind attending the launching ceremony, though he mentioned that he is against it. But Niadu took out few other interesting things about the issue. He noted that the unilateral decisions being taken on Kaleswaram would be more harmful to the long-term interests of AP.
Countering Naidu’s statements, Jagan said that the YSRCP government is maintaining good relations with Telangana, for the benefit of the state, referring to the interlinking of Krishna and Godavari rivers.

But Naidu said that a few decisions like Kaleshwaram would work, only till the relations between both the state are going well and would take a beat, if there are any differences in the future. Naidu further said that Jagan’s age would not be equal to his political experience. These comments created a disturbance in the assembly from the YSRCP leaders and the young CM severely objected to his statements.
