Jagan losing grip on his own party members?

The popular opinion among political circles seems to be that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is losing grip over his own party members, as evidenced by the very often recurrences of disputes between its own members. The most recent incident was when Subhani, a follower of Minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy attacked Subbarao Gupta, another YSRCP flag bearer.

The video of Subhani attacking Subbarao became viral on social media and was even telecast on some major news channels across the state, causing widespread shock. The worst part for the YSRCP came when Balineni’s response to the issue wasn’t responsible enough. Balineni sounded reckless enough to not even properly acknowledge the incident.

The first version of Balineni’s response was when he said that he stopped the man who was attacking Subbarao, and then he changed his version to say that ‘if at all’ his man attacked Subbarao, he takes complete responsibility for it. As a result, the YSRCP is getting a very bad name in the political circles, who are calling out Jagan for not being able to control his own members.
