Jagan confirms Amaravati as Capital, but!

As it is widely spread that the Andhra Pradesh government is planning to shift the capital from Amaravati, a clarity for the same, from the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been awaiting since long.

Finally, the young CM has conducted a review meeting with the CRDA official and came up with some interesting comments on the Amaravati. Jagan said that any works related to the Capital, should be performed, keeping in mind the financial position of the state.

After the meeting, Botsa Satyanarayana spoke to the media, saying that the works that are not yet started and the contracts that are yet to be signed have been cancelled. Rest other works related to the construction of Capital city will be taken forward with no stoppage. With this, it is confirmed that the AP government is not going to shift the Capital from Amaravati.

As it is Botsa, who earlier created an uproar confirming the shifting of Capital, the state government picked him again to declare the official decision that there is no such move from the YSRCP government.

Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, on the other side, said that Jagan never had any intention of shifting the capital and that could be the reason for him to construct his residence in Amaravati itself. Finally, the decision can be considered as a great relief to TDP, as the party chief Chandrababu Naidu was worried about losing his the credit of picking Amaravati as Capital and starting the construction works.
