In-Talk: India producing World’s cheapest e-bike at Rs.19999

Entire world is moving towards electric vehicles. While US and Europe are concentrating on four wheeler, India is focusing on gaining an edge over two wheeler market. It is a fact that two wheeler is more famous and most used in India than four wheeler.

Several Indian companies are coming up with electric two wheeler designs and a company named Detel came up with the World’s most economical electric bike. The cost of this bike is around Rs.19999/- and it goes at a top speed of 25kmph. It takes 7 – 8 hours to charge and it runs for around 60kms per charge.

Detel is a Delhi based company which focuses on producing the most economical products. Previously this company released a cell phone for Rs.299 and a TV for Rs.3999. Several other companies too were in race to capture the e-bike market in India. As fuel prices are raising, Indians are showing more interest on e-bikes.
