TDP Chief Chandra Babu Naidu is well known for his timely strategics and his one of a kind planning with a distinctive mind.
But, from the pre-poll period and after his defeat in the 2019 general elections, he has become very vulnerable these days and that is the time where Jagan took massive advantage of his brain faded moments. More than Jagan’s efforts, Naidu’s own mistakes are sending TDP into the abyss.
For example, after Naidu made some sensational allegations on the AP government on this phone-tapping issue, everyone is puzzled. He might have mentioned some reliable information along with those severe allegations but he didn’t. This weakness of him facilitated the YSRCP to gain the upper hand.
AP DGP Gautam Sawang took the centre stage and asked Naidu that he can support his claims with some sought of evidence or proofs at least an information that can aid them in the investigation. Naidu has completely lost it with his desperation though there are some reports that the phones are being tapped and the government is behind it.
Even in the high court, Jagan started to mention the special status issue as the petition filed against him has the line ‘according to the Partition act’. Cleverly, Jagan said that if one has to consider the partition act that was formulated by the center to halt his three project dream, the center should give special status to Andhra Pradesh under the same act.
Jagan is very clear. He is just saying that if you are taking an act into consideration, every promise that was made under it should be kept. But, Jagan hasn’t spelled out a word on special status after he took power from CBN despite bringing special status to the AP is one of his pre-poll promises. But in a most opportunistic way, he raised the issue to get what he wants. So, at this moment, compared to Jagan, what is Naidu good for? Especially in playing this kind of opportunistic politics.
