High Court shocks YSRCP yet again!

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh has been shocking the YSRCP government ever since it was formed last year. The High Court is repeatedly going against the Chief Minister and is issuing judgements that do not go hand in hand with the government’s decisions.

The High Court has now once again done the exact same thing, by issuing a stay order on the Gazette notification released by the government on the 3 Capitals. After going through all the petitions that have been filed against these bills, the High Court decided to give the stay order, and it also ordered the government of Andhra Pradesh to file a reply counter.

The 3 Capital Bill and the CRDA Repeal bill went through a lot of delays and objections before they were approved. They were finally approved last week, when the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Biswabhushan Harichandan signed and approved them.

Following his approval, several people have raised objections on social media and otherwise, questioning the Governor’s sanctity in approving such a controversial bill, especially when it was going against the interests of the farmers of Amaravati.

In a sign of retaliation, and with the hope of justice being served to them, farmers of Amaravati formed a long, human chain on Seed Axis Highway, from Tallayapalem to Nelapadu, while making sure to maintain social distancing.
