High Court nods for 10th class exams

Telangana High Court finally tolerated the Telangana government after a very long time as they gave green signal to conduct the SSC exams this year from June 8. It is known that previously the court bashed the TG government for not conducting sufficient COVID-19 confirmatory tests and for not revealing their test count to the public.

Now, the High Court which took up hearing on a petition submitted by the Government, through video conference directed that there should be a gap of two days between the exams. They also ordered the government to make a review of the situation arising out of the coronavirus affliction on June 3 and submit a report to the court on June 4.

Though the High Court gave permission, they asked the government to launch a helpline for the benefit of the students taking the exams. Earlier, Telangana Government had filed an affidavit before the HC, pleading to grant permission to hold SSC exams.

The Government has informed the court that it has planned to double the examination centers, ensure sanitation and physical distancing among the exam candidates. It is known that the Telangana 10th class examination begun on March 19th but only 3 papers were held for 2 subjects before the Center induced lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
