Heavy rains: PM Modi’s assurance to Telugu people

2020 is turning out to be a tough year for the people in India. After the pandemic and the intense situation at the northern borders, the heavy rains due to the depression created in the Bay of Bengal is making lives tougher and tougher. Both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are equally troubled due to this situation and the central government is offering support in the form of relief and rescue operations.

PM Narendra Modi tweeted about his discussion with the CMs of the Telugu states saying that the central government will be providing all possible support and assistance to the people of the Telugu states.

With flood like situation in several areas, people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are struggling to cope up with the heavy rains. State governments are offering food and assistance to the people who were locked in flood water. Rescue operations are on progress in the respective areas.
