Half of the tournament is over and Kings XI Punjab are yet to find a way to win the games. Though they look solid on paper, they are failing to do well on the field. That is the reason why they have lost six of their first seven games. Tonight, they will be taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore, which is one of the strongest teams of the tournament.
The only win of Punjab in this edition came against RCB. KL Rahul-led side will take it as a boosting factor to perform well against Virat Kohli’s boys. Punjab may include Chris Gayle in the playing XI this game. We have to see what he brings to the side if he gets a chance to play. The rest of the players need to come together as a team, rather than playing individual games. The bowling attack also looks pale as only Ravi Bishnoi is able to attack the batsmen well.
On the flip side, RCB looks stronger than ever this season. They have a strong batting lineup, complemented by a lethal bowling attack. Every player is contributing to the team and that is the reason why they won five out of the seven games. They will be looking forward to continuing the same form in this match as well. The game will be held in Sharjah. So, we can expect some fireworks from the batsmen. The game begins at 07.30 PM IST.
