Exclusive: Too much budget on Eesha Rebba’s Ragala 24 Gantallo

Lot of newcomers interested in making films are entering the industry without a basic knowledge of producing films.

One example is Srinivas Kanuri who made Ragala 24 Gantallo. A film which is supposed to be wound up in three crores exceeded the budget and cost the producer around seven crores.

He did not take money from the financiers and spent every penny from his pocket. Wonder where he got the confidence from?

The cast of the film are primarily short film actors who are struggling to make it big and the story also doesn’t require great production values but the director splurged on the film instead of focusing on the content.

The producer reportedly spent additional money in celebrations to please the director who has been recently appointed as Chairman of Sri Venkateswara Bhakthi Channel, the post left vacant by comedian Prudhvi.

With such a humungous, the producer could have made two films or a far better movie with talented director and technicians rather than those who are out of form.
