Story:

Sameera (Regina) gets involved in the case of Ashok Krishna’s (Naveen Chandra) murder. Vikram Vasudev (Adivi Sesh), a corrupt police officer, comes into picture to solve the case. What are the challenges he faced in solving the mystery forms the crux of Evaru.

Performances:

Adivi Sesh as a corrupt police officer did extremely well. Even Regina came up with a brilliant performance, be it in acting skills or bold scenes. Naveen Chandra is apt to the character he was picked for.

Technical highlights

Cinematography is one of the major highlights of Evaru. Even Vamshi’s camera work is good. Sri Charan Pakala’s music elevated the suspense scenes in the film. Production values are okay. A few of the scenes could have trimmed, for the better output. Though the film has no major scope for the dramas unlike the commercial films, the director tried to include some drama, which may not sink with the core subject.

Analysis:

Adivi Sesh is known for his brilliant writing skills and most of his projects like Kshanam, Goodachari etc were highly appreciated in the similar aspect. Even Evaru deserves one such comfortable position in Sesh’s career. Though few scenes may appear boring, most of the scenes were written in an engaging manner and are apt to the suspense thriller genre. One who is fond of crime thrillers will love Evaru too.
