Dongalunnaru Jagratha Review: Good concept bad execution

Young actor Sri Simha’s survival drama, Dongalunnaru Jaagratha has hit the screens today. Let’s analyse it.

Story:

Raju( Sri Simha) a small time thief breaks into a customized car. As an unexpected scenario, the doors do not open and the control panel does not respond and will be trapped in it. Later, Raju tries to survive in the car? Who traps Raju in the vehicle? Will the thief be able to survive, forms crucial crux.

On-screen performances:

Firstly, the film has very limited artists in it. While Sri Simha did his part decently as a guy truck in helpless situation, noted actor Samuthirakani is fine in his purposeful role.

Other artists such as Preeti Asrani did their part decently. Srikanth Iyengar is okay in his cameo cop role.

Off-screen Talents:

Music by Kaala Bhairava fails to register. Surprisingly, his background score lacks an impact. The cinematography work by Yeshwanth C is good as he showcased the interior design in the vehicle with different frames.

Editing by Garry BH is okay as he kept the runtime within limits. Production values for this low budget films.

Director Satish Tripura ‘s idea of making a survival drama is good but he execution part lacks a solid flow in it. The scene order is also not that effective.

Verdict:

In an overview, Dongalunnaru Jaagratha is a survival drama that has a good concept but the narration lacks engaging moments. The film is filled with illogical presentation and ends up as a big-time disappointment.
