Sajjala Ramakrishnareddy, YCP’s state general secretary and government adviser, said that CM YS Jagan had assured an MLC seat to the former minister Rama Subbareddy. Rama Subbareddy along with Sajjala Ramakrishnareddy met CM Jagan at the CM’s camp office in Thadepalli. On this occasion, Rama Subbareddy explained the party situation in the constituency to Jagan. He later joined Sajjala Ramakrishnareddy at a press conference at the party headquarters.
Sajjala Ramakrishnareddy said that CM Jagan had instructed Rama Subbareddy to coordinate with the local MP and MLA. He said that Sudheer Reddy, who is the sitting MLA from Jammalamadugu will also contest in the upcoming 2024 elections. After the redistricting of Jammalamadugu in the future, there will be two assembly seats. Then, Rama Subbareddy and Sudheer Reddy will contest from both the constituencies respectively, Sajjala said.
