Kollywood star hero Chiyaan Vikram has been admitted to a hospital in Chennai after he fell ill due to viral fever.
However, some media reports revealed that Vikram suffered a heart attack today and was rushed to Kauvery hospital in Chennai for medical treatment. But Vikram’s official PR team revealed that he fell ill and had viral fever and there is nothing more to it. His health condition is said to be better now and is shifted to the normal ward and will get back to normalcy soon.
Meanwhile, Vikram was supposed to attend the teaser launch of his upcoming movie, Ponniyin Selvan, which is set to happen later today at 6 pm in Chennai.
Directed by Mani Ratnam, Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 is currently in the post-production phase. PS- 1 will release in multiple languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on September 3.
