For the past few days, there have been speculations that YS Vijayamma, mother of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, would be announcing her resignation from her Honorary President position in the YSRC party.
As anticipated, YS Vijayamma today announced her resignation as the honorary president of the YSR Congress Party at the party’s plenary session.
Stepping down from the position, the wife of the former CM late YS Rajasekhar Reddy assured that she would be with his son Jagan all the time.
YS Vijayamma further added that she wanted to stretch her support to her daughter Sharmila, who launched a new political party, YSRTP in Telangana. She also said that CM YS Jagan has kept 90 per cent of election promises during his 3 years of reign.
