It has been well over two years since the release of Koratala Siva’s last film ‘Bharath Ane Nenu’. He spent more than a year on Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’ and given the prevailing situation, owing to Covid-19 outbreak, it might be quite some time before the film releases.
However, Koratala Siva is not willing to sit back and waste more time. He wants to get things back on track.
Siva met with Chiranjeevi very recently and requested him to join the sets soon. Siva assured he will only be canning scenes which do not need a lot of star cast, this cutting down the Covid-19 transmission risk. Chiranjeevi was considerate enough to understand Siva’s request and obliged to resume shoot.
A special temple set is now being erected for ‘Acharya’ and a few key sequences in the film will be shot here with limited cast and technical crew. Only principle lead cast and technicians will be present on the set.
Needless to say, film shooting is a risky proposition no matter how many safety measures are followed. But it appears to be that Chiranjeevi is willing to take the big risk for ‘Acharya’.
‘Acharya’ unit is now preparing a blueprint for resumption of shoot. Safety precautions and proper sanitary measures will be given utmost importance in the forthcoming schedules.
