Lahari Films, in collaboration with RB Studios, is excited to kick off the production of their eagerly awaited movie “Sangeet” with a vibrant traditional pooja ceremony. The screenplay is handed by Niharika Konidela, with Shourya handling the cinematography. The inaugural shot was directed by SS Karthikeya, with story written and directed by Saad Khan, renowned for ‘Humble Politician Nograj’.
“Sangeet,” a heartwarming narrative of love, family and life’s harmonies, centers on Samarth, played by the Nikhil Vijayendra Simha. Samarth’s routine life is turned upside down in a delightful twist amidst his brother’s wedding celebrations. Teju Aswini joins the cast as the female lead.
Nikhil Vijayendra Simha remarked that starting this cinematic voyage is like a dream and holds a special place in his heart, and keen to explore the depth of Samarth’s journey. Teju Ashwini, portraying Swara, shared her enthusiasm saying ‘Sangeet’ explores the core of human connections and the splendor of life’s symphonies.
Director Saad Khan, acclaimed for his unique narrative style, conveyed his aspirations for “Sangeet” said that this film aims to showcase the hidden chaos families experience during weddings. He said that its a pleasure to collaborate with producers Naveen, Chandru, and Shravanthi, who have already established themselves in the Telugu cinema industry.
Produced by Naveen Manoharan, Chandru Manoharan, and Shravanthi Naveen, in partnership with Firstaction, a Rainshine company led by Executive Producer Maaz Khan, “Sangeet” also features actor Vikram Shiva, Surya Ganapathy, and comedian Harsha Chemudu in other roles.
As “Sangeet” moves into production, it stands poised to redefine genres, offering an unpredictable and thoroughly captivating cinematic experience.
