It is known that Telugu Desam Party chief, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, is currently touring his home constituency of Kuppam. He was obstructed by the local police when he was trying to reach Gudipalle. The police didn’t let him pass through, which angered the political leader, causing him to get into a sit-in protest on the road.
Chandrababu said that he is well aware that it is Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy that is behind the Police’s actions. He said that Jagan’s psychotic nature is showing through day after day, and that the people of the state are realising it very well. He went on to question the police department, asking them how obstructing him in his own constituency is justified.
Naidu went on to ask why so many policemen were deployed in the area, asking if the TDP members were being treated as terrorists in the state. He said that he would not tolerate such behaviour, and reminded the police that they were there to protect the people of the state and not be the beck and call of the Chief Minister.
