The sudden demise of veteran actor Krishna’s wife and Mahesh Babu’s mother Indira Devi has sent shock waves across the Telugu film industry. Several celebrities took to social media to post condolences for her.
Megastar Chiranjeevi was one of the first few celebrities to mourn the loss of Indira Devi. His tweet in Telugu is translated as, “It is sad to hear the news of the untimely passing away of Mrs. Indira Devi. Wishing the soul of the Mother Goddess to rest in peace. I express my deepest condolences to Superstar Krishna, brother Mahesh Babu and all the family members.”
Former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu tweeted, “The news of the death of Indira Devi, the wife of famous actor Krishna and mother of Mahesh Babu has caused a shock. Praying to God to rest her soul and give the family members the mental strength to recover quickly from this ordeal. My deepest condolences to the family.”
Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan issued a statement regarding the demise of Indira Devi. “It is sad that Sri Krishna’s wife and Mahesh Babu’s mother Shrimati Indira Devi breathed her last. I pray that the soul of Indira Devi rests in peace. My deepest condolences to their family. I am praying that God will grant Sri Krishna and Mahesh Babu the courage to recover quickly from this pain,” his statement read.
Nandamuri Balakrishna responded to this tragic development and said, “The death of Ghattamaneni Krishna’s wife and Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu’s mother Indira Devi is sad. May the holy soul of Indira Devi rest in peace. I convey my deepest condolences.”
Nara Lokesh tweeted, “Condolences on the death of Indira Devi, wife of famous actor and superstar Krishna. I pray to God to rest her soul in peace. My deepest sympathy to their family members.”
Young Tiger NTR offered his deepest condolences to Krishna’s family. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Deeply saddened by the passing away of Indira Devi Garu. Deepest condolences to Krishna garu, Mahesh anna and family in this time of grief.”
