Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has enjoyed the position of being the most powerful man of the state for ten years now, and everything now seems to be spiraling out of control, with the Congress party leading in the latest election results. The BRS is facing an unexpected defeat in the ongoing elections, where the Congress has gained significantly on the BRS.
A majority section of the people are of the opinion that this is because of KCR’s neglection of the state of Telangana, and his national aspirations. He recently took the TRS to the national level, and renamed it BRS, with the hopes of forming a third front, hoping to form his government at the center.
As such, the Chief Minister failed to take concern of the issues taking place in Telangana, and of the needs of the people of the state. Accompanied by that is the fact that KCR took some drastically wrong steps toward the people of North Telangana, which doomed his fate. All in all, these elections are going to leave a bitter taste in the mouth for KCR and BRS on the whole.
