Bonda Uma hints to quit TDP!

TDP leader Bonda Uma, who was able to win as an MLA in 2014, was unable to repeat the victory in the Vijayawada Central constituency. He lost to YSRCP candidate Malladi Vishnu, with a very minor difference of votes.

As even TDP faced a humiliating defeat, Uma had been since then silent on the result and stood away from the political activities for quite some time. While he was in his Australian tour, several anticipated that he would soon join in YSRCP, as the ruling party reportedly assured him a notable position in the party. While he was expected to quit TDP, right after his comeback from the tour, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu sent Buddha Venkanna to speak with Uma.

Venkanna thus met Uma recently and involved in a closed door discussion. He explained about the way, TDP was concerned about Kapus in its regime. Adding further, Venkanna also said that the YSRCP had to face severe criticism in the last two months of its rule. So there would not be any future to those who join the ruling party now.

After the meeting, Venkanna spoke to the media and clarified that Uma is not going to leave TDP. “I am even ready to sacrifice my party in-charge post for him, if he wishes to occupy it,” Venkanna said.

On the other side, Bonda Uma said that he is going to give a clarity on everything, after meeting Chandrababu Naidu, hinting that there are no strong chances for him to stay back in TDP. Naidu and Uma are going to meet on Monday. So, a proper clarity on his exit, is expected to be out after the meeting.
