Bobde dismissed all the charges filed by Jagan against NV Ramana ??

Justice NV Ramana will be the next Chief Justice of India (CJI) in the Supreme Court. The incumbent CJI Justice Bobde wrote a letter to the Central Judiciary proposing NV Ramana as the 48th CJI. Justice SA Bobde retires on April 23. In this background, Bobde recommended the name NV Ramana.

According to the rules, the post of Chief Justice of India will be given to the most senior in the Supreme Court. Bobde was followed by NV Ramana as a senior in the Supreme Court. The process will be completed after the approval of the President. Justice NV Ramana is likely to be sworn in as CJI on April 24. He will continue in this post till August 26, 2022.

According to the grapevine, the current CJI Bobde has dismissed all the charges filed by Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan against NV Ramana before recommending his name to the Central Judiciary.
