In his speech yesterday, NV Ramana boosted the morale of the other judges who are under threat from the AP state legislature by saying that the strength of the judiciary lies within the faith of the people and that fight is being protected by the confidence and acceptability which cannot be commanded as they have to be earned.
NV Ramana also asked the judges to be fearless and withstand all the pressured being free and independent. He requested them to act by values and principles like they always do and cleared out that nothing will happen to them in this war of legislature vs judiciary. “A vibrant and independent judiciary is required in the present times,” said NV Ramana.
