The BJP is sharpening its tactics to strengthen the party in AP. Earlier, it was rumored that former TDP ministers Kala Venkatrao, Mudragada Padmanabhan, and Padala Aruna were contacted by Somu Veerraju.
Recently, the TDP leaders Kala Venkata Rao and Padala Aruna confirmed that they are being contacted by BJP but they made it clear that they are not going to leave TDP at any cost. Kala Venkata Rao added that he has no plans to ditch TDP. Padala Aruna said that she was getting a good offer from BJP but she is not able to end her 33-year-old bonding with TDP. With this, it is clear that the BJP has been trying to occupy second place in AP by relegating TDP to the third.
