AP NGO President demanded immediate withdrawal of the Grama Panchayat election notification

AP NGO state president Chandrasekhar Reddy has demanded immediate withdrawal of the Grama Panchayat election notification.

They want the election to be halted due to the Covid strain and bird flu. He warned that otherwise the election functions would be boycotted and resorted to the courts if necessary.

He also questioned the issuance of notification at a time when the corona vaccination dry run was going on in the state.

Responding to the Grama Panchayat election notification, he told the media, “We have informed the Election Commissioner on several occasions that it is not possible to conduct elections in the state. CS also explained the same thing to him. In the states like Telangana and Bihar, corona spread faster after the elections. The Election Commissioner stubbornly issued the notification. His decision should be withdrawnl immediately, ”he said.
