Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh State, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is furious with the Election Commission.
He felt that the EC is being biased and have postponed the Local Body Elections just to buy some more time for TDP party. This statement came in the wake of EC announcing the the elections are postponed by 6 weeks.
State’s Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Vara Prasad will not be spared for this adventure, warned Jagan Mohan Reddy. He claimed that it was Ex-Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu who had appointed him as EC Commissioner during his rule and now Nimmagadda is showing his allegiance to him by postponing to favor Naidu.
He was furious that without consulting anybody in the government about Coronavirus, how can Nimmagadda take this decision independently.
And he felt it was not sensible to quote Coronavirus as the reason for this decision. We have complained to the Governor on the misdeeds of the Election Commissioner, concluded Jagan.
