AP CM Jagan to change his political game?

It is very well known that the YSRCP party and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has always supported the Bharatiya Janata Party at the Central level, no matter what, by always choosing to not comment on the centre’s actions in media, no matter what. Even other members of the YSRCP were strongly advised not to speak about the BJP, in any other terms than what the YSRCP party office approves.

Of course, there have been cases where the YSRCP criticised the BJP’s ways, but all of this was closely monitored by the CM. Jagan has supported the BJP more than any other party belonging to the NDA. However, things seem like they are about to change, with various sources saying that Jagan is highly disappointed by the way the BJP is treating him and his party.

Apart from the fact that the BJP has refused to release funds for Polavaram, which is now being funded by the state, the blockage to the YSR Insurance policy, and the continuous denial of special status for AP, the BJP seems to have done some personal damage to Jagan.

Insider sources are saying that the CM is more concerned about the centre’s inaction towards Justice NV Ramana being made the next Chief Justice of India, despite Jagan’s letter to the current CJI, SA Bobde. It is being said that Jagan is being more vocal about his dissatisfaction in the BJP, during internal meetings, now more than ever.

What turns out to be interesting is that many are considering this as groundwork for Jagan’s rebellion against the BJP. Recently, Mamta Banerjee even invited Jagan to rebel against the BJP, and join her. In reality, there were reports that Jagan and Telangana Chief Minister KCR had met at Pragathi Bhavan and discussed their plan of rebelling against the BJP when Jagan was newly elected as AP’s CM.

Following this report, Jagan reacted strongly and denied all those reports. With the latest information, it now looks highly unlikely that Jagan’s plan with KCR was untrue. It is now to be seen how Jagan will change his political game.
