The relatives brought a woman named Anjali, who was infected with corona, to GMR Varalakshmi Care Hospital in the Srikakulam district. However, the staff of Care Hospitals clarified that they will not admit patients without making a cash payment in advance. Hospital staff also refused online payments such as phone pay and Google pay.
Hence, the relatives of the victim searched for ATMs that have money for about 3 hours but to no avail. Meanwhile, the victim Anjali died due to a lack of treatment.
