Prime Minister Boris Johnson imposed a second round of lockdown to curb the spread of a new type of coronavirus in Britain.
Emergency measures are being taken and strict rules are being enforced to prevent people from leaving their homes.
Only emergency services such as hospitals, supermarkets, drug stores, and post offices are allowed to open. Churches and prayer halls are allowed to be opened with social distancing.
Violation of lockdown rules carries a fine of 200 pounds(Rs. 20,000) for the first time.
If the same is repeated then the fine will be of Rs. 6.36 lakhs. Police are empowered to imprison those who come out without a valid reason.
