Cold war: India lashes out at China over comments on Ladakh

India – China’s border dispute is getting intense day by day. Heated arguments are taking place between the officials from both the countries. Recently, Rajnath Singh inaugurated 44 bridges that were built by BRO at the border areas. China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian commented that the Indian Government is illegally doing infrastructure development in the Ladakh Union Territory.

He further mentioned that China will not recognize Ladakh as well as Himachal Pradesh as a part of India. To this, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said that the Union Territories of Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir will always remain as an integral part of India.

He further added that Indian government made it clear to China several times that Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh were always a part of India and it is disrespectful for other countries to involve in the internal aspects of India. Anurag finalized that if China keeps involving in the internal affairs of India, the nation will start involving in the internal affairs of China. It is a fact that Tibet is a burning issue in China and the Tibetans were supporting Indian Army and are hoping that some day they will get independence from China.
