As the number of positive cases have increased to 504, a total lock down is announced in 30 States and other Union Territories. The local domestic flights have been cancelled since last midnight in India. With Central Government giving orders to States to punish those who are violating the lockdown, more strict actions are being implemented.
States like Delhi, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Kerala, Chandigarh, Goa, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Bihar, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Haryana, Tripura, Karnataka, Assam and Gujarat is under total lock down, while other States such as Maharashtra, Punjab and Puducherry are implementing curfew.
Since the death toll is also slowly increasing, the emergency environment grew among people and to address the future plan on this, the Prime Minister of India will be addressing the Nation today night at 8pm via electronic media on Television News Channels.
