Corona cases are on the rise in Maharashtra. Recently, a total of over 9,000 positive cases were registered in Maharashtra. The three-story hostel building has 327 students from Amravati, Hingoli, Nanded, Washim, Buldana, and Akola districts. Authorities were alerted to the fact that 232 of the 327 students were infected with the corona.
The District Collector Shanmugarajan visited the school and inquired about the situation there. The school premises were sealed and declared as a Containment Zone. All these corona-infected students are staying in hostels belonging to the school.
Today, in Maharashtra, 8,807 people were infected with corona and 80 died. The number of corona patients in Mumbai has crossed one thousand. There are currently 2,95,578 people under home quarantine in Maharashtra.
